OPEN POSITIONS

Work under the direction of the Shop Superintendent
Ensure all furnace loads are heat treated to customer specifications or requirements
Responsible for loading/unloading the delivery or pick up of client loads
Responsible for overhead crane operation
Responsible to double-check and cross-check paperwork and furnace set up to verify load is properly set up and programmed into the heat controller
Immediately notify Shop Superintendent if there are any issues with any furnaces, equipment, machines, vehicles, and cranes
Inspect all tools and equipment prior to use to ensure safe operation before performing any task
Wash any vehicles that are dirty
Keep yard/shop in tidy manner – including garbage clean up inside and outside, grass cut, and keeping shop in a clean and orderly fashion

Responsible for all duties as listed above under “Furnace Operator”
Responsible for that all paperwork is read, understood, and signed
Responsible for troubleshooting, correcting, and mitigating any problems that may occur
Responsible for ensuring that all client directions are strictly followed

Work under the direction of the General Manager
Perform pre-trip inspections on all trucks and mobile units
Responsible for the safe driving and operation of mobile units while traveling to site
Responsible for the assessment of the job scope after arriving on site
Wrap welds for post weld heat treatment with insulation and heaters
Program heat cycles into controllers as per client specifications
Monitor heat charts at all times during the heat cycle
Expected to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may occur during a heat cycle
Ensure paperwork is completed neatly and correctly; double checking all weld numbers to avoid errors
Responsible for unwrapping welds, discarding insulation and leaving work area clean
Responsible for all required and scheduled maintenance on assigned mobile unit
Responsible for keeping mobile units clean both inside and out

Work under the direction of the Shop Superintendent
Deal with telephone calls and emails concerning the booking of furnaces and inquiries from clients
Receive all loads that come in to the yard
Double check all paperwork and verify each load to match with paperwork and/or verbal instruction from client
Prepare receiving slips accordingly
Support furnace operators as required
Inspect all tools and equipment prior to use to ensure safe operation before performing any task
